For Better Acoustic Environment:  

   Our living environment has a variety of sounds, such as comfortable sounds, uncomfortable sounds, and sounds for communication. Both existence and non-existence of sound may cause trouble in our living space. From the generation of sound to the perception, all of these processes are the subjects of our study. To realize good acoustic environment by reducing unpleasant sounds, making music more comfortable, and realizing clear communication, we are engaged in the acoustic research work with a standpoint of urban environment and architecture.
